Our Christian Values are Hope, Respect, Friendship, Love, Courage, Forgiveness

Week beginning 2.3.20

Date: 28th Feb 2020 @ 10:39am

What a fantastic group of budding electricians there are in Goldfinches! Thank you all so much for joining us on Wednesday and taking on our torch making challenge so enthusiastically. It was wonderful to see so much engagement and enjoyment.

The children also enjoyed meeting John during Thursday's worship and learning about disabilities. They behaved with such kindness and respect and we are very proud of them.

Diaries: we reminded all of the children this week to ensure they write the name of the books they are reading into their diaries as this helps us to monitor their progress and choices (this includes school books, free choice books and books from home) We are still aiming for our children to try and read daily for approximately 15 mins and we would still like them to read aloud to an adult for some of their home reads. Thank you for your support with this.

Coming up:

Monday 2nd is Goldfinches turn to have their extra PE slot with Mr Ault. Please make sure your child has both outdoor and indoor PE kit as the weather is so unpredictable.

We will be dressing up for World Book Day on Wednesday 4th March. 'Fancy Dress favourite Character'. Children are welcome to bring in their favourite book.
