Good morning Skylarks and parents,

I hope you are all well and enjoying your afternoon creative projects. Please keep tweeting your learning so that I can see what you have all been up too. @LostockGralamPr

I hope you have managed to begin working through some of the addition and subtraction questions I attached to yesterday’s blog. You can continue to do this daily as this is a really good way to practise what you already know. Today could you have a go at completing the comprehension text that I put in your home learning packs. This would be a great way to refresh your minds of understanding the text that you are reading as you are all so brilliant at this.

As you are aware some online learning platforms have been released over the weekend. Please try and attempt the following as a bit of revision:

Recap your knowledge of multiples and factors https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zfchpg8

Why not recap your knowledge of expanded noun phrases https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/z4d6t39 find an old picture of a place or just look outside your window, describe some of the things you can see and come up with some different expanded noun phrases.

Today’s riddle: Mary has four daughters, and each of her daughters has a brother — how many children does Mary have?

Yesterday’s answer: A towel

Message from Mrs Powell:

I love this and I love all of your smiles! When you think kind things, you spread that kindness for everyone to see.  Tell someone special, three of your kind thoughts.

“If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.” – Roald Dahl

Please continue to stay safe and not over work yourselves as it is very important to make sure that you are mentally well.
