Thursday 14th January 2021

Good morning to my little flock of Goldfinches. It’s Thursday already. You are just so amazing in everything you are doing and please keep up the great balance of work, rest and play.

Don’t forget to go on the discussion page today where you can chat to each other and you can share the work you are doing.

  Reading

I hope you are enjoying your 20 minutes daily read and getting lost in your book. Which new world have you entered? My ‘Train to impossible places’ is taking me through lots of imaginary places.

My Lola is loving a book called ‘The Nowhere Emporium’ by Ross Mackenzeie. It is all about an orphan called Daniel who runs into the ‘Nowhere Emporium’ whilst running away from a gang. In it he discovers he is special and meets Mr Silver. He becomes an important part of the Nowhere Emporium and travels around the world and back in time. Lola says she would definitely recommend it to Y4 readers who like adventure stories.
