Applying for a Reception School Place for September 2024

Deadline for supporting information:

  • Any information received by this date will be considered for the initial allocation of school places, for example, change of address, change in circumstances, reasons for us to consider a late application/change of preference as on time
  • Any information received after this date cannot be included in the initial allocation of school places, however, will be considered later in the process following the 16 April 2024

Notification of offers:

  • Online offers made available for parents/carers to view, emails sent to parents/carers who have applied online notifying of the school place offered
  • Offer letters notifying parent/carers of school place offered sent out by post to parents/ carers who have applied using a paper application

Applying for an In-Year Admission

Parents who require an In-Year place should contact the school office first to see if there are spaces in the relevant year group by phoning 01606 668270 or emailing admin@lostockgralam.cheshire.sch.uk

We can arrange an opportunity for you to visit, to meet the headteacher, discuss the curriculum, tour the site and to meet your child’s potential new class. 

If you then decide to apply for a place this can be done via Cheshire West and Chester's In-Year transfer application. You can apply for a place twenty school days before the date the place is required.

Once the application is received by school you will hear directly from us with regards to the offer of a place (if one is available) and an agreed start date. At this stage data collection forms will be supplied to obtain information that school needs and also an information booklet which provides lots of helpful information about school.

Please note that any In Year applications made on the admissions website between 18th July and 31st August will not be available for schools to view and process until 1st September 2023.
