Buenas Dias Swallows

I hope that you are all well. We did see some lovely sunshine yesterday after all which was great. What did you all get up to? Fingers crossed for more sunshine today...

Thomas and I did the lessons yesterday that I put on here for you. We really enjoyed reading the Firework Maker's Daughter and using our detective inference skills as well as exploring the shapes in Maths. We learnt what a 'slogan' is and Thomas enjoyed listening out for more examples on the tele later that day eg "Every little helps" and "Save money, live better". See if you can work out which supermarket these come from? Can you find any more slogans and tweet them to me?

Today, let's carry on with our inference and shape learning. There is also a Spanish lesson teaching you how to introduce yourself! Hola, Buenas Dias, me llamo Nicola. I wonder what I have just said? Click on the link below to find your lessons. Enjoy my lovely Swallows and have a wonderful day.

A messgae from Mrs Powell

“If you’re going to get anywhere in life you have to read a lot of books.” Roald Dahl

What could you read today? I’ve realised that I’m always talking about reading but that is because books are brilliant and you can learn so much without realising it. You learn lots of new words, visit new places, learn new skills or just get lost in a wonderful story.

Take care, stay safe and have fun. Keep smiling those gorgeous smiles.

Love Mrs Rice and Mrs Elson xxx
