Wednesday 22nd April

Date: 21st Apr 2020 @ 7:47pm

Happy Wednesday my lovely Owls.

How are you all? Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. We had a bit of a lazy day yesterday. We watched a lot of Disney+ , read some books, pottered in the garden and played with the kinetic sand(for the millionth time!) I think sometimes we need those sorts of days!Someone bought Leo some roller skates for his Birthday so if we are feeling brave we might attempt them today... I think we may need full protective wear!!
What are you all getting up to? Please share with me on Tapestry I love seeing you all and it really makes me smile.

Grown ups- if you haven't had a chance have a look at the new materials released this week they are really good. I really like the Oak National Academy-https://www.thenational.academy/online-classroom/reception/#schedule
I found this lovely activity on there using things from your  daily walk/outside in your garden to make a face https://www.thenational.academy/reception/foundation/my-face-in-nature-reception-wk1-5/
There are also extra Maths/extra writing activities on there if you are wanting some extra things to fill your day. If you feel that the EYFS maths isn't challenging your child feel free to use some of the Y1 materials where you feel appropriate.

Owls,I am missing watching Numberblocks together. At school we were up to number 11. I have put a link to the episode if you would like to watch it and maybe you could practise writing your numbers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcAc9-85ZEY

We are missing you so much. Please keep in touch and can't wait to see you all.

Love Mrs Campion and Mrs Hoskins

PS- If you would like to be a mystery reader please video a story and send it to me on Tapestry. If you have done one already and would like to do another one please feel free. Log in later for a special read from one of our special teachers at school.

Message from Mrs Powell:
If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.” – Roald Dahl

I love this and I love all of your smiles! When you think kind things, you spread that kindness for everyone to see.  Tell someone special, three of your kind thoughts.
