Good Morning Owls.
How are you all today? It isn't quite as sunny as it has been but hopefully you are still managing to get outside to play or go out for your exercise. How are you getting on making your bed in the morning? Are there any other jobs that you can be helping with at home? I know how helpful you all are. Leo has been helping to make tea in the evenings and even doing a little bit of dusting!

Here is a special message from lovely Mrs Hoskins:
Good Morning our Superstar Owls.
I hope that you are all enjoying being at home, spending quality time with the special people in your lives. Alongside her homeschooling, my Ellie has been helping her dad and I around the house. We have absolutely loved being in the garden in the beautiful sunshine, and she has been learning about the different tools used for gardening. We have also been teaching her to cook and bake. She has made pancakes, omelettes and chocolate crunch and has even had a go at helping her dad make their own version of KFC chicken- it was delicious!
I am loving being able to spend time with my big girl however Mrs Campion and I are missing each and every one of you like crazy!! You all have your own little personalities and we are really missing having our little chats with you and playing alongside you. We are loving seeing all of the wonderful things you are doing at home, what are your plans for this week? In my house, we are going to be decorating the bathroom and our first job is to knock off all the old tiles- it is going to be super MESSY! You all know how in Reception, we love getting messy so I am really looking forward to it!
Keep sharing the fabulous things you are doing as it makes us smile. Sending the biggest hugs and hope to see you all soon,
Love Mrs Hoskins x

I have found a lesson on the National Academy website which I think you will enjoy. https://www.thenational.academy/reception/foundation/people-who-help-us-reception-wk2-2
It is all about real life superheroes (doctors!) It also lets us think about all the people in our community who are helping us at the moment and all their special jobs. What is your dream job? You can draw a picture and write about it for me or act it out. Please share them on Tapestry. My dream job from when I was tiny was to be a Teacher and I am super lucky to get to do it everyday.
There is also a nice Maths activity on there counting in groups. https://www.thenational.academy/reception/maths/sharing-objects-into-equal-groups-reception-wk2-2

Thank you for all of your hard work. I am so proud of you all and think each and every one of you is amazing.

If you need anything at all, please get in touch,
Love from Mrs Campion and Mrs Hoskins

Message from Mrs Powell:
“If you’re going to get anywhere in life you have to read a lot of books.” Roald Dahl

What could you read today?  I’ve realised that I’m always talking about reading but that is because books are brilliant and you can learn so much without realising it. You learn lots of new words, visit new places, learn new skills or just get lost in a wonderful story.
