Good Morning Owls.
I am so glad to see the sun is back again.

I love seeing all your lovely walks that you go on. I know lots of you have been exploring and finding new places to go for your daily exercise, Have you walked past school on your walk yet? The window is getting so full. If you want to do something for the sharing window you can leave it in the box by the office or you can post it/email it to school.

Here is the link to carry on with this weeks maths lessons: https://www.thenational.academy/reception/maths/exploring-place-value-reception-wk4-4
You will need ten frames for the lesson so I have attached one for you to print (don't worry if you do not have a printer you can ask a grown up to draw them for you.)

I loved seeing you enjoying learning more about different habitats yesterday. Today, you can learn more about mini beasts and create your own at home. You could use junk modelling, Lego, natural resources like twigs and leaves. Please share your creations with me.

Remember our challenge of making someone smile this week. Have you done something kind this week? What was your act of kindness? We are planning to put together a little basket of goodies for my Dad. It is his Birthday on Friday and because we cannot share it with him we have put together a basket of his favourite things with some pictures that Leo and Artie have drawn. I am hoping that this makes him smile.

I have a little something to tell you.... I forgot about the fitness challenge yesterday on the blog so will put 2 on today.
Day 8:Choose a song and create your own dance routine for the song. Perform it in front of your family. I used to love doing this when I was little!
Day 9:Pick up a ball from the floor without using your hands!

I hope you have a wonderful day today. Here is a link to the caterpillar song I shared with you. I hope that you enjoy it and can maybe have a go yourself.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-zQ82yN68I

Squirrels are often seen hanging on birdfeeders, trying to grab as much food as they can. Sometimes they even hang upside down while they feed! Sometimes they fall off, but they soon come back again to try to get more! Often birds can’t get to the birdfeeders because the squirrels are already feeding from them! The poor birds have to wait, even though they are hungry! Sometimes they fly away and perch in the trees, watching the squirrels feed. When the squirrels have finished, then the birds can have their turn to feed, even though the seed and nuts are really put there for them. It could be that the squirrel is trying to keep the food for itself. It could be that the bird is challenging the squirrel for the food. It could be that they are sharing!
There are times in our lives when we all find it difficult to share! Christians believe that God has given us the world and everything in it - it is a gift from God that we are all to share with each other. Christians also believe that it is good to share what we have with others. We can share our possessions, food, money, friends, talents, even our love.
