Year 4 Goldfinches

Welcome to Goldfinches Class 🙂

Our Class Teachers are Mrs Campion and Mrs Evans.

The Teaching Assistant is Mrs Ahern.

This is our class book:

goldfinch-1

Our book this term is The Orchard Book of Greek Myths by Geraldine McCaughrean and Emma Chichester. This book brings to life tales from Ancient Greece, and is the starting point and inspiration behind several of our pieces of writing. These beautifully told stories tell of the daring plot to invade the city of Troy with an enormous wooden horse, of a king whose touch turns things to gold, of heroes and of adventures across the seas.

In science we’ve been learning about our digestion and how to look after our teeth. This has included an experiment to find out how different liquids impact on our tooth enamel.
